Over 50 artists showing original works in all media.  Unframed matted works will also be available along with artist's art cards. Tea Room will be open during the show with donations going to our charity of choice and ACA will again hold a door prize draw for an original work of art.

Ajax/Pickering Hospital Tile Project by Ajax Creative Arts

The year long project for about 30 Ajax Creavtive Arts members was the designing and painting of ceiling tiles for the children’s wing of
the Rouge Valley Health System (formerly Ajax Pickering General Hospital).

Cheryl Helferty and Kim McCann arranged this project and Winsor & Newton donated the acrylic paint for the first set of tiles.

The first set “Fish”
was designed by Cheryl Helferty, Ajax.

The second set “Circus”
was designed by Madelaine Alter, Courtice.

The third group of six tiles
“Kids painting a fence” was designed by Michael Jack, Whitby.

The fourth set “Hot Air Balloon” was designed by Kim McCann, Pickering.

The fifth set “The Whole World” was painted by young student artists of
Kim McCann’s in August, 2003.

“Zoo Animals and Imagine”
were designed by Irene Leach, Pickering.

The eighth set “Bugs”
was designed by Jean Cairns, Ajax.

Individual ceiling tiles were also designed and painted by other members of Ajax Creative Arts.
