Gary Faulkner

2018 Artful Draw "Strawberries in Basket" donated by Gary Faulkner

Medium: Oil on board
Image Size: 14" x 16"
Value: $500

Shirley Heard

Gary Faulkner
Gary is a long-term resident of Ajax, VP of the Art Guild of Scarborough, a member of PRAC, Station Gallery, Ajax Creative Arts, Society of Canadian Artists and sits on the Board of the Durham West Arts Centre Foundation.
He was also director of SilverStone Gallery in Pickering during its operation.
His painting inspirations come from the beauty of nature and finds great satisfaction working with oil and other media.
His work has been accepted into many shows and has garnered many awards, including the recent PRAC Juried Art Exhibition. Gary's love of painting and music (Gary can be seen and heard frequently in our community as a baritone soloist) certainly keeps him busy throughout the year and fortunately Durham is a great place for both disciplines.

Thanks to our sponsor OPG for hosting this event.

We are holding our 2018 annual special evening on Wednesday, April 4th at the same great venue. Ontario Power Generation has once again graciously offered their Information Centre at 1675 Montgomery Park Road, Pickering and you can expect the same excellent artwork, entertainment, information, fun and refreshments that we have become (dare I say it) famous for ~ and this year ~ I think it will be even better!

The evening is really all about our multi~talented members. We love to showcase our visual and performing artists ~ and we are also going to raise a little money for the Council by holding another eclectic silent auction and raffling off an exciting piece of artwork donated by artist Gary Faulkner. We hope to be able to accept payments with Visa and MasterCard as well as cash and cheques!
